Boot lid

Stripping the paint and filler off the boot lid reveals a typically horrifying mess. Again, we could just buy a new one, but where’s the fun in that?

Much like the door skins, it’s best to remove the outer skin, repair the frame, and then repair the outer skin again.

Minis, unsurprisingly, don’t have any illumination in the boot, or any convenient place to install a switch. I think it’s time to correct that dreadful oversight:
